Florence Cherop is widowed at an early age. She devotes her entire life to bringing up her two children. Hers is a close-knit family and her growing children reciprocate her devotion by studying well and loving her back. As a single mother, Florence refrains herself from loving a Stanley, a mature bachelor.
The children are now grown ups and no longer dependant on her. Florence opens her heart to Stanley. The family fabric and stability is threatened by the possessive jealous of her children.
